Our Story
We offer personalized postpartum support for all. Our goal is to give you and your family the attention, care, and knowledge you need to make informed choices with your new bundle of joy.
Our founder, Danielle Kestenberg CD-PIC, sees the early postpartum period as an extension of pregnancy and birth. This time commonly goes without support and, recognizing this herself with her own 2 births, she wanted that to change. Her passion for the birthing experience led her to form a team of Doulas who also treasure those precious postpartum moments.
Whether it's physical recovery, emotional transitions, newborn feeding and care, or managing parenting philosophies, we believe our certified, professional and non-judgemental Doulas are a necessary part of every growing family.

SUPPORT SERVICES
PRENATAL VISITS
We take on a limited number of clients at any one time to make sure we can give you the full care and attention you deserve. By offering Prenatal Visits, our goal is to reduce any stress, allowing you to pay attention to your body and your baby when the time comes. We also use this time to plan and personalize which Doula and services are right for you and your family.
BIRTHING GUIDANCE
Birmingham Bloomfield Doula Services does not provide labor doulas at this time, however, we have many Doulas who we would personally recommend. If you are interested in a certified labor doula, please contact us, we would love to help.
We do offer postpartum visits starting the moment your baby is born. Whether in the hospital or at home, our Doulas meet you right where you are as soon as you need us.
POSTPARTUM SUPPORT
Pregnancy, birth and the early days and months with your new baby can be challenging.
Your Doula will be there to calm, reassure, educate and support you and your family through this life changing time. We are here to help you push past what you think you're capable of and help you cherish your time with your newborn.
As certified Postpartum and Infant Care Doulas, we are able to:
-give you a good nights sleep
-introduce various parenting philosophies
-individualize physical care for you and your baby
-recognize normal and abnormal signs of postpartum recovery
CONTRACT PRICING
We offer multiple packages to fit any budget. Whether it’s 10 hours or 200 hours, overnights or days, we can personalize a contract for you and your family.
There is a minimum of 5 hours for each daytime shift and 8 hours for each overnight shift (e.g. 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.).
All Doulas are insured through CM&F Group.
